I lost one of the fish today. The "chubby lady" who had been unwell finally gave up. Yet another of Allan's precious pets I've lost, another tiny break with Allan. As if losing Allan so suddenly wasn't bad enough, I have to endure the gradual erosion of our relationship in these, perhaps minor ways, but this is like the Death of a Thousand Cuts - each seemingly trivial event is just another step. remmeber, the small cuts are the ones that nip like Hell and bleed profusely...
