The first snow of this Winter period fell last night. I woke up in the early hours and found that it lain on the roads and cars. Now I'm up and about, and the snow's still falling. I'm in two minds about it, it's a pest, but also it's an opportunity for me to stay in the house and brood. Last year when the snow hit bad, my poor man was stuck on a dual carriageway not 2 miles from the house for seven and a half hours. I was beside myself with worry, but he was his usual calm and level headed self. I remember walking up to the town centre to meet him and give him a warm cuppa. That won't happen this year. I'm starting to worry about whether I'll be able to get down to the cemetery again this year. I hope so.
