One year ago today was the date when Allan's ashes were placed in the plot at New Barrhill cemetery. It was another day of agony and loneliness for me, but about 4 pm that afternoon saw the drawing of lines of battle. On this day, as I have every day since Allan died, I have cried and thought about Allan and how much I miss him. He was my inspiration, my security, my friend and my love. I could never even think of replacing that unique, loving, beautiful human being. My heart was broken on the day you died, and it still is Allan. I can't go on this way, I need some peace in my soul.
