It was my niece's birthday and we were having a lunch at a pub/restaurant. Allan had been staying at mine for a couple of days and I was really keen for him to meet my family, and I thought what better opportunity! He got on great with everyone right from the start (no mean feat I can tell you!), and everyone could see he was far and away the best man I had ever met.
