Today is the anniversary of our first date.  I went down to Barrhill and cleaned Allan's headstone, left him a card, a flower and a surprise!

I am sad about today as this date holds such happy memories; now sadly bittersweet.  I keep wondering if Allan's (and my own) life would have been different had we not met, and yes it would have been.  But, I tell you something, Allan made my life BETTER! Despite the pain and the heartache of him dying.    He was a really lovely man; yes I know everybody thinks the world of you when you die, but this man really was a lovely human being.  Such a waste and a loss to this world we live in, and more so the greatest loss in my life...

But I will smile later, I have smiled and laughed today as I thought about that first date, and for me that memory is a lovely one. .  .  No rgerets Allan.  No regrets!  xx
